RP Profile
Holly is a sweet and shy girl who doesn't want to stick out in crowds or have any attention drawn to her. But, being in a fairly bright purple garb, well.. to say the least, she sticks out like a sore thumb. If anyone tries to interact with her, she usually closes in on herself or hides behind a nearby friend. She's not hard to become friends with, she's a sweetheart ultimately, she's just not great with first encounters. Once she gets to know somebody, she's a very gentle and benevolent person, and surprisingly well spoken from her family's teachings. She's elegant in the way she speaks, but she can fall short and ends up stuttering more times than not.Though she may be a sweet girl, her parents taught her well, she can be extremely emotional. She's an alchemist and with that comes shortcomings, flaws, and failures. Sometimes her spells don't work the way she wants them to and has a breakdown from even the smallest thing that happens to her. She's fairly volatile, having been sheltered all her life and hasn't had to deal with many emotions.Just.. be a little gentle with her, alright?

Basic Backstory
Holly had quite the affluent upbringing, being a child of House Tarorue, a wealthy family situated in the Pillars area of the Foundation. Her mother and father sheltered her throughout her life, perceiving the outside world of Coerthas to be far too dangerous for her to handle. Especially with rough and tumble adventurers about more often in the snowy lands, they didn't want to risk anything that could potentially hurt Holly. She didn't have any way to socialize with folks outside of Foundation, making her a shy and mostly secluded girl who primarily read books all day.
-------------------------------------------
During her studies as she got older, she discovered the fascinating world of the Arcane through her reading. She searched her manor's lavish library, finding any tome or misplaced scrap they had within their archive for more about the magic of Eorzea. Eventually, she stumbled into finding a book about becoming an arcanist, one step down from a Summoner. This piqued her interest to the point of knowing it was something she dreamt of doing, but how would her parents approve of this decision? Would they scowl and tell her she wasn't ready, or would they accept that she wanted this so badly?
-------------------------------------------
It had been days since she first discovered the makings of Summoners, when her parents break some.. devastating news to her. They were planning on an arranged marriage for her and a young Elezen fellow, also coming from a wealthy family. What was she going to do now? Her plans were put to a stop abruptly but.... what was she going to do? She had to tell them, or she'd have to deal with an arranged marriage. And...
-------------------------------------------
The parents of the Tarorue household took time to think everything through about what Holly had told them. Arcane? Becoming a Summoner? Magic? The outside world? How could their poor baby have become this way, but she seems.. happy with her decision. Her mother and father came to the conclusion that, though reluctantly, they'll let her go and become an Arcanist... on one condition. Holly must have a bodyguard with her at all times, just in case something happened. Holly agreed, and even though her parents didn't want to see her go that way, they were just happy she found something she really wanted to do.
-------------------------------------------
Holly was preparing for this day, preparing herself a garb far too oversized for her smaller frame. Dressed in a slightly gaudy and very purple robe and a mage's hat to match, she slowly swung her door open and watched from behind the railing of the top floor. Below was her parents talking to a Roe man clad in red armor, seemingly the one her parents had hired to be her bodyguard. He certainly wasn't what she was expecting, but when she was called downstairs, she gave him a little curtsy as greeting. Though her shy demeanor made her hesitant to follow the man out, she stuck by his side as they exited Tarorue manor.
-------------------------------------------
".. Might I ask your name?"
"My name is Ranco Ranca."
A soft smile appeared on Holly's face after Ranco introduced himself, and the Roe had turned his head away from her in turn. Did she do something wrong? Was it something she said?

Extra Info!
Holly is quite your run of the mill and typical Hyur, besides a handful of jewelry she wears ever so often. She's a sweet girl who doesn't really have any oddities about her, only wearing fairly basic but pretty jewelry befitting of her status. She has a few chokers to choose from, but she's extremely biased towards the moon choker she has in her collection. She's oft seen wearing glasses, too, considering she's a big book nerd and honestly probably needs them.
